Herbal Drugs Not Effective Overcome Diabetes

And usually, the benefits of herbal medicine derived from the placebo," said Prof. Sarwono.

Sarwono added, herbal medicines are commonly used in today's society there is no benefit, but do not have the risks that may be used.

"For example we've examined pare, brotowali, then tea 919, still to no avail. Originally booming, everyone wear but now it does not have the scars as a result of blow-ups, "said Prof. Sarwono.

In addition, Sarwono also straighten the opinion of those who think that certain herbal medicine natural. "People think the difference is one chemical and one not. Previously, the Food and Drug Supervisory Agency (BPOM) freeze the production of diabetes drug marketing authorization GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), ie, Avandia, Avandamet and Avandaryl tablets. All three drugs are suspended license orbit and withdrawn from circulation because of the information from the European Medicines Agency (EMA) that contain three single and combination with rosiglitazone.
